About Forex Illusion
An education-first publication about retail trading, and about the marketing that surrounds it.
What this site is
Forex Illusion publishes plain-language explanation of how retail forex, CFD and crypto markets work, alongside an archive of examinations of brokers, platforms and signal services first published between 2017 and 2020. The name refers to the gap between what retail trading is sold as and what it measurably is.
What this site is not
It is not an advisory service, a signal provider, a comparison table or a lead generator. It issues no ratings and makes no recommendations. It cannot tell you whether a product is suitable for you, and it will not pretend otherwise.
The archive
Fourteen pages from the original publication have been preserved at their original addresses, with their original publication dates and bylines. Each is labelled as archived and unverified against the current methodology. Nothing in them has been rewritten to look more current or more confident than it was.
