Editorial policy
The rules the publication holds itself to, including the ones that cost it revenue.
Standing prohibitions
- No financial, investment, legal or tax advice, in any format.
- No signals, trade calls, entry or exit levels, or profit projections.
- No invented or unverified licence numbers, regulators or company registrations.
- No scores, rankings, awards or “recommended” labels.
- No testimonials, user counts or performance figures we cannot source.
- No guarantee of income, returns, or “risk-free” anything.
Sourcing
Factual claims are linked to a primary source wherever one exists: a regulator’s register, an enforcement notice, a provider’s own terms, or a dated archive capture. Where a source is unavailable, the sentence is written to make the uncertainty explicit rather than rounded up into confidence.
Authorship and attribution
Every page names its author. Author pages list only credentials that have been supplied and can be checked; where none exist, the page says none were supplied. We do not attribute material to invented experts or to a generic “editorial team” byline.
Commercial independence
Advertisers and providers have no input into editorial content, ordering or timing, and are never shown copy before publication. Current commercial arrangements: [Required from publisher: confirmed advertising and affiliate relationships].
Use of AI
Automated tools may assist with formatting, summarising and copy-editing. No page is published without human review, and no factual claim originates from a model without an underlying human-checked source.
Updates and unpublishing
Material errors are corrected and logged rather than deleted. Pages that can no longer be supported are retired with a visible notice at the original URL, not removed silently.
